Message Title: Does creatine help runners?

I was wondering if there were any runners out there who use creatine and feel that they are seeing benefits from it. I have always been under the assumption that it was used for muscle mass, I am really looking more for something to help speed recovery as I have to run when time makes itself available, so I don't always get a day of rest between runs.

Usually my post-workout routine consists of a smoothie with skim milk and about 15 kinds of frozen fruit - occasionally i will add protein powder but not very often as I feel I already get adequate protein in my diet normally.

Any suggestions?
